ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS & FINANCE

Before joining GUST in 2009, Dr. Kisswani has held academic appointments in the US as a Visiting Assistant Professor at both Quinnipiac University and Eastern Connecticut State University, as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and College of Southern Nevada. Dr. Kisswani has taught various graduate and undergraduate courses including Energy Economics, Econometrics, Managerial Economics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematical Economics, Applied Statistical Methods, Statistics for Business and Economics, Price analysis, Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Game Theory, Labor Economics, and Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Dr. Kisswani’s honors include a Doctoral Graduate Assistantship, a Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship, a Doctoral Dissertation Extraordinary Expense Award, and Pre-doctoral Fellowship. Dr. Kisswani is a member of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE), American Economic Association (AEA), American Agricultural Economics Association (AAEA), Omicron Delta Epsilon “International Honor Society in Economics” (ODE), American Association of University Professors (AAUA), and Kuwait Economic Society (KES)
